(mud) – If you want to work successfully at WTH, you have to be flexible. It can happen that sales employees think along with decisions for the sales area – or vice versa. Everyone is expected to keep up to date with their area of responsibility. Don’t be afraid to “look beyond the horizon”. And: Entrepreneurial thinking is expressly desired for the employees of the Stade company.
Every job at WTH has its own individual work content and requirements due to the industrial sectors responsibilite. The flexible action of every WTH employee is favored by the very flat hierarchical structures of the company.
+ The WTH structures are easily explained:
The sales administration (VV) is responsible for the support of the supply plants, materials management, logistics, documentation and support of existing customers and contact maintenance. Pricing, monitoring of the order cycle and warm calls are added. In addition, the VV looks after all interested parties together with the WTH sales staff. Supplier responsibility lies with the VV, customer responsibility is limited to the existing sales products or the existing sales business.
Sales (VK) is responsible for acquiring new customers (cold calling) and advising customers and interested parties on application technology. In addition, there is the support of (development) projects of potential business partners. In addition to a basic commercial understanding, technical expertise and in-depth market/industry knowledge of the area of responsibility are required here. The UK has industry responsibility (knowledge of consumers, developments, trends, products, competitors and so on) for the industry and customer responsibility for new customers/prospects and the introduction of new products and technical project support for business partners.
+ And what claims do WTH employees have for themselves?
Employees in sales administration not only feel responsible for the economic disposition of all necessary products, storage and sales. For them, competent independent completion of all technical and commercial matters (including calculation) is also part of it. They also negotiate and organize transport and logistics services. They are also responsible for clarifying technical and commercial issues. Although they are “commercial”, they also clarify technical questions about selection, application and use options as well as the limits of the respective raw materials or chemicals.
One credo stands above everything: the willingness of each individual to share knowledge gained with others in the company. – Hoarding “Domination Knowledge” only helps one. Passing it on and thus cultivating team spirit and developing functionalities benefits everyone.
