Polish “Plastpol” in a spirit of optimism

(mud) – The “Plastpol” trade fair in Kielce, Poland, set an impressive example at the end of May. Even though not quite as many exhibitors and visitors came back after the break caused by the pandemic as in the years before the corona virus, the trade fair was full of a spirit of optimism.
WTH has had its own stand at Plastpol since 2010. Since then, the Stade-based company’s business in Poland has developed very dynamically. Today, the business in Poland makes a valuable contribution to the WTH company’s success. The decisions made in 2008/2009 to expand the WTH sales area in an easterly direction with a focus on Poland are now bearing the hoped-for results.
After all, 20,000 experts and interested people visited the stands of more than 400 exhibitors from almost 30 nations from May 24th to 27th in Kielce. It was palpable that both exhibitors and visitors were enjoying the unique live trade fair atmosphere. It showed how important personal contact and exchange through talks and presentations is for everyone. Video events will hardly be able to replace such an on-site event.
In fact, the Plastpol differs from many other trade fairs in one point: significantly more direct contacts are made and made here. This ensures that discussions are of a high quality and is easy on the wallet at the same time, because many individual customer projects can be discussed in one place and in just a few days. The results can then later be purposefully completed.
The trade fair location Kielce is characterized by interesting framework data: around 70 trade fairs take place here every year. This makes Kielce the “number two” trade fair location in Central and Eastern Europe. Plastpol is the most important trade fair in Poland for the plastics industry. Regardless of which direction you are coming from, it takes a maximum of two hours on country roads from the motorway to Kielce. Exhibitors and visitors willingly take the trouble, Plastpol is the industry highlight in Poland.
