(mud/JBÖ-DHO) – The WTH trade show experts have carefully packed their bags for “Fakuma”: from October 15 to 19, they will be in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance to surprise their conversation partners in Hall B4 (booth 4505) with a comprehensive portfolio of additives and fillers for the plastics and rubber industries. No questions should be left unanswered.
Metals are essential components in many plastics, often employed as catalysts in their production and processing. However, metals like copper, iron, or nickel can also induce undesired side reactions during plastic processing, thereby compromising the quality of the end product. Consequently, metal deactivators are frequently employed in various plastics to prevent or minimize the undesirable effects of metals.
(mud) – What does WTH GmbH have to do with a recent report from the Federal Statistical Office stating that German exports of plastic waste have nearly halved in the past ten years? “A great deal,” assures WTH Managing Director Gero Thieme. “We have played a significant role in this achievement!” This is thanks to the “good conscience of forward-looking plastic waste prevention” – economic chemist Cutian Wolf-Jusuf. The WTH expert ensures, with extensive commitment and high competence, that WTH customers equip their products during plastic production in such a way that it ultimately contributes to waste reduction.
Crosslinked CPE
Crosslinked chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is produced by crosslinking chlorinated polyethylene, a thermoplastic material formed by chlorinating low-density polyethylene (HDPE). The crosslinking of CPE can be achieved through chemical or radiation-induced processes.
