(mud) – For the fourteenth time this year, WTH GmbH from Stade participated in “Plastpol” in Kielce, Poland. Company CEO Gero Thieme is convinced: “Our persistent engagement in the neighboring country is slowly paying off. A dynamically growing business is developing in Poland, as well as in neighboring countries.”
(mud) – “The ECS, the European Coating Show, represents a significant platform for us,” says Dr. Silke-Nicola Trzaska, “because it allows us to identify new suppliers, maintain existing business relationships, and collaborate successfully with our customers.” This assessment is shared by the visitors of this year’s ECS.
(tw/mud) – For Tomasz Wojtas, our “WTH man in Poland,” the annual participation in “Plastpol” is the most important date of the year. “It is,” he says, “the biggest trade fair event for the plastics industry in Eastern Europe.” – Here, Wojtas (WTH- Sales and Application Engineering in Poland) describes what the exhibition in Kielce means to him with great commitment:
(snt/mud) – Whether large or small – for Dr. Silke-Nicola Trzaska, all trade shows attended by WTH are equally important. She also does not believe that digitization will banish trade shows “to the screens” in the future. Dr. Trzaska (WTH- Sales and Application Engineering) rates the value of the interaction of trade fairs highly. After all, “We do business with people.” Here, the graduate chemist precisely describes her impressions of trade fair activity yesterday and today:
(mud) – Nowhere else can a company’s products or services be presented to the public better than at trade fairs. And there is hardly any other opportunity where customers and companies can talk more directly than in exhibitions like this. Interested parties and providers are face to face here, so to speak – that creates trust. Therefore, participation in trade fairs is not only obligatory for WTH GmbH, but also really very welcome.
(mud) – WTH Managing Director Gero Thieme assesses the prospects for the new year with confidence. He expects continued good business development for his company in 2023. Even if there are certain imponderables, the head of the company is certain that he will be able to successfully continue the positive development to date: “The company is in good shape”.
Christmas is pure emotion in Germany. In the coming weeks, we will see highlights that are closely linked to our Christian worldview. The Advent season follows the Christmas festival with Christmas Eve and two holidays. Then we are slipping to New Year’s Eve to celebrate the ” Epiphany ” on January 6th – so the traditions are over.
mud – WTH GmbH in Stade is a rock solid and successful family business. This long-distance trading company was founded on February 24, 1992 by Walter Thieme. My name is Gero Thieme. I have now taken my seat in the second generation as the successor to the WTH executive chair. My father passed the baton on to me in September 2021. My credo as WTH Managing Director is: “Ability comes from wanting”.
In the past, when assessing the economic success of companies, we contented ourselves with the succinct remark that both customers and suppliers make regular use of services and that everything is therefore “right”. In short: more attention was paid to the product or the service itself, but less to the accompanying processes. – There’s more to come.
(mud) – The “Plastpol” trade fair in Kielce, Poland, set an impressive example at the end of May. Even though not quite as many exhibitors and visitors came back after the break caused by the pandemic as in the years before the corona virus, the trade fair was full of a spirit of optimism.
