WTH engagement in Poland pays of
Plastpol – a success
(mud) – For the fourteenth time this year, WTH GmbH from Stade participated in “Plastpol” in Kielce, Poland. Company CEO Gero Thieme is convinced: “Our persistent engagement in the neighboring country is slowly paying off. A dynamically growing business is developing in Poland, as well as in neighboring countries.”
After the fair, the post-processing of numerous discussions from Kielce began at the WTH headquarters in Stade. The pleasantly increased number of customer contacts has triggered a wave of sample shipments and offers to Polish and other interested parties.
Around six hundred international exhibitors gathered at the largest trade fair event for the plastics industry in Eastern Europe in Kielce. For the first time since the pandemic, 120 Asian exhibitors (including ninety from China) had also arrived. Italy led the pack with a total of sixty exhibitors.
All exhibitors showcased what they had to offer on approximately 30,000 square meters of exhibition space. And there was a lot on display: all aspects ranging from the beginnings of plastic manufacturing to disposal and recycling were presented. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about plastic processing machinery, molds and tools, as well as on-site demonstrations of IT systems for production.
Participating in Plastpol was a complete success for WTH. With perseverance, sociability, and personal commitment, the WTH booth staff not only managed to increase the number of customer contacts but also succeeded in generating sustained interest in their own offerings from visitors. – Bring on the next Plastpol!
