What a working life can encompass:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

\u201cChallenge accepted\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

(mud) \u2013 Those who come into the office in the morning are not only thinking about their current tasks. Professional and personal development often play a key role. This is also true for WTH employees, especially since some come from international backgrounds. Today, Jutta B\u00f6sch shares her thoughts on work with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

She is married, has a child, and has learned not just one, but two professions. Jutta B\u00f6sch (52) sometimes goes swimming even before heading to the office. She also enjoys cycling \u2013 occasionally riding her bike to work. In her spare time, she enjoys managing the rental of her holiday home on the North Sea. When it comes to travel, Madeira and Italy are also high on her list.<\/p>\n\n

“I trained as an office administrator and foreign language correspondent,” says Jutta B\u00f6sch. In addition to English, French, and Spanish, she also learned Italian and Mandarin. She also completed a distance-learning program to become an “E-commerce Manager.”<\/p>\n\n

She\u2019s seen a bit of the world, too: \u201cAfter an extended stay with a host family in the USA, I took advantage of professional contacts during a two-year internal trainee program for Area Sales Manager International & Marketing Manager to complete internships in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and England.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

\u201cVersatility\u201d is clearly her professional motto: after 27 years in the plastics processing industry, she also worked in a scissor factory, an Italian wine and delicacies online shop, and in the sales of pharmaceutical filling equipment\u2014before coming full circle and returning to the chemical sector with her position at WTH.<\/p>\n\n

Jutta B\u00f6sch: \u201cI actually thought I was bringing solid industry knowledge with me, but I realized we\u2019re not the suppliers, but the pre-suppliers to my former industry.\u201d But that\u2019s no problem for her \u2013 of course: \u201cChallenge accepted.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

What she appreciates about WTH: flat hierarchies, a very collegial atmosphere, colleagues with international backgrounds, varied tasks thanks to the small company size and a lot of creative freedom \u2013 and on top of that, the great central location in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Stade.<\/p>\n\n

Jutta B\u00f6sch also has clear ideas about her wishes and goals: \u201cAfter the VK40 area lay more or less dormant for about a year and a half, I am working on reactivating all old, inactive contacts and further developing existing customers. The goal is to also become more involved in international business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
