Family, Nature, and Career<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(mud) \u2013 Those who come into the office in the morning aren\u2019t always just thinking about their current tasks. Sometimes, deeply personal matters are on their minds. This is also true for WTH employees \u2013 especially since some of them come from international backgrounds. Today, Natalie Thunig<\/u> shares her thoughts on work with us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy family is very enthusiastic about nature,\u201d says Natalie Thunig, revealing: \u201cFrom fish, turtles, giant African snails, and grasshoppers to an ant farm\u2014our two children deepen their curiosity for nature and science through all of it.\u201d Outside of work and the office, the Thunig family often engages in sports and loves to travel. But lying on the beach all day isn\u2019t for them, says Natalie Thunig: they prefer climbing, hiking, cycling, exploring caves, and skiing in the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her professional journey before joining WTH was also successful and exciting. She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics and Management (University of South Bohemia, \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice, Czech Republic). \u201cIn 2008, right after graduating from university, I started as a Key Account Manager at an international freight forwarding company,\u201d says Natalie Thunig. After three years, she moved to an international furniture retail company. As a Sales and Supply Support Specialist, she provided strategic logistical support in planning and coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of an internal Business & Leadership Competence Program, she worked as a project manager across Europe. \u201cLater, as a team assistant in the logistics department, I coordinated the day-to-day logistics operations,\u201d she recalls, adding: \u201cAs a Team Leader for Quality and Safety Compliance, I was responsible for implementing and monitoring quality and safety standards in goods flow processes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing to expand her knowledge has always been important to her. That\u2019s why she completed the following training programs: \u201cBusiness & Leadership Competence Program,\u201d \u201cLogistics Specialist Module,\u201d and \u201cBusiness Quality Leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince May 2020, I\u2019ve been working at WTH as Team Leader in Sales Administration,\u201d says Natalie Thunig. \u201cOur team ensures that the desired products, in the desired quality, are delivered at competitive prices, on time, and to the right place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with sales partner Dieter Holst, she works as a point of contact for customers in the PVC and cable industry. Under the leadership of Gero Thieme, WTH is a company with a family-like atmosphere. Decision-making paths are short and the company is flexible. The vision of WTH founder Walter Thieme and the dedication of its employees define WTH\u2014along with its strong and long-standing relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalie Thunig is still focused on further education: \u201cMy personal goal is to deepen my understanding of chemistry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
