2025: WTH Sees Challenges but Also New Opportunities

“We Are Well Positioned…”

(mud) – What will the new year bring? The first weeks of 2025 already suggest that the waters, both nationally and internationally, will not become calmer. The economy and society hold various surprises in store. Like all companies, WTH will also face major challenges but also new opportunities.

“We are well positioned and look confidently towards the year 2025,” says WTH Managing Director Gero Thieme, adding, “However, it will also bring various expected and unexpected events. We will overcome them all.” The company’s broad business portfolio, spanning various industries and regions within the European Union, is certainly an advantage in this regard.

Regarding specific business expectations for 2025, the WTH CEO describes them as “cautiously optimistic” and emphasizes that the company remains strongly committed to the European market. Thieme states, “We expect consolidated revenue to be roughly at the previous year’s level, which is often interpreted as stagnation or even a step backward.” However, he sees this rather positively, considering the overall conditions, and even recognizes “room for growth.”

While statistics can sometimes be interpreted differently, WTH views its sales markets and industries as a “large, robust market.” This market presents a balanced mix of well-established and proven product portfolios alongside interesting, forward-looking developments and innovations.

All of this forms a solid foundation for strong business development in the chemical and technical industries, in which WTH operates. Another key advantage is the company’s highly professional workforce. Gero Thieme states, “Our employees are, in fact, highly valued by our customers and partners as competent conversation partners.”

Firmly believing that successful business relationships can only thrive when people interact professionally, with mutual respect, and on equal footing, WTH places great importance on continuously improving its employees’ working environment.

Gero Thieme: “We continuously optimize our business processes with the help of skilled service providers and adapt WTH’s organizational structure accordingly. It goes without saying that this is not a one-way street—IT service providers, for example, also benefit from WTH’s experience and processes, adapting them for their own software developments.”
